TINSEL & TOYS

It's taking a long, long, long time.
But I'm beginning to learn.
That I can only use one at a time.
Someone once said,
"Only one life,
Twill soon be past.
Only what is done for Christ will last."
"Christ gave his life for us. We too, then, ought to give our lives for others. If we are rich and see others in need, yet close our hearts against them, how can we claim that we love God?" -1 John 3:16,17 (TEV)

I have to chuckle. I love shoes and have far too many of them. The same for books. That said, there's rarely a day that passes that I don't pray, "Lord, teach me to number my days that I might gain a heart of wisdom". (Ps 90:12) The number dwindles far too quickly!

Have fun riding those bikes & snapping bunches of photos.

I'm smiling too Luther!

It's a common problem, isn't it? And who uses all of those pots... you?? :)

Merry Christmas!

Wonder if it's age or wisdom - or just the realization that everything beyond 'one' is too much? I don't know but I'm feeling along the same lines Luther. Especially since I realized that we have the same Olympus and Fuji cameras that I see in your photo, plus an old Nikon and Kodak that my father-in-law gave to us. He was a professional photographer who always took 2 or 3 cameras with him just in case. ;)
