A LONG FULL LIFE

"The righteous flourish like the palm tree,

and grow like a cedar in Lebanon,

they are planted in the house of the Lord,

they flourish in the courts of our God.

They still bring forth fruit in old age,

they are ever full of sap and green,

to show that the Lord is upright;

he is my rock and there is no

unrighteousness in him."

(Psalms 92:12 -15 RSV)

Am I living like God wants me to,

i.e., "righteous"?

Am I "planted in the house of the Lord"?

That is, living my life with the Lord God?

If I am,

I can be useful even in old age.
